First day at my college

Inauguration day, many thoughts were going in my mind. How would be the college? College campus? Seniors? Ragging?? Faculty? new friends? I’m carrying my parents hopes for my bright future and happiness. I’m also carrying my dreams for the future that is to become a software engineer and to do M.S in foreign.

I arrived to my college, the first look was like "master piece”. I entered the campus, the hall was filled up by the other students and their parents.I am always alone, My dad never took much care about me but he had always shown great interest, respect to my studies. Although my father was not with me,he gave me a cell phone for the first time and asked me to call if there is any urgent and he would be there.

I walked in to the hall,now my eyes with out my permission began to look for beautiful girls. I found my two school friends, one is B.Bharath Baradwaj and the other is S.Swathi reddy(name changed) .I was very happy to see them and especially Swathi because of the crush in our school days. Although it was 2 years that we never spoke to each other she given a nice pleasant smile
and waved me her hand said "hi". I was very happy and she left the place.

The administration asked the students to attend their respective demo classes. I and Swathi are of different branches. so, I did not get a chance to sit with her in the same class.I entered my class room with my head down and I directly approached to the last bench, I took my seat and introduced myself to the other students. Now my eyes began to search for the girls again, I didn't find any except few. I felt my self happy.

One of the faculties entered the room and began to say about the college greatness, history, rules and regulation, etc. He said that "phones were not allowed in to the campus premises”, while he was saying that my phone began to ring.It was my dad and I rejected the call and soon switched off the phone. All the students in the class laughed at me. He too smiled and excused me.

I returned my home in the evening and shared my experience of first day in the college with my best pal P.Bharath.I said that "girls in my college were not so beautiful except few ,the campus is big and beautiful.” I was very happy that day to see Swathi in front of me and felt comfortable with the campus.

Before the start of college

I passed a competitive exam based on which a college is preferred.Though I did not get a great rank,I managed to get a normal rank for what I can get a good college.There are lot of things in my mind about my college-which branch to select? how far the college would be? how would be the faculty? what about ragging? etc.

At last I confirmed my admission in Sri Indu college of Engineering and Technology which is 24 kilometers from my home.It is said that "the college was big and the main attraction was its dome."

As an typical Indian student,I decided to study daily and not to waste time because my parents are not satisfied with my performance in last academy.I'm an average student who enjoys everything,has cricket,soccer,wrestling,music crazy, interested in girls as every on else,wastes time and studies enough.

It's all set for the college,the college starting day has announced and informed all the students to attend the inauguration day.Although I did not visited my college before,I saw some pictures in the local news paper,internet and very interested to go to college because of the college life shown in the movies.
